Shojo,(Japanese Sake God/ Alcoholic sea spirit or drunkard ghost). Stands close to three foot tall and is hand carved lacquered wood. He is usually a benevolent spirit depending on the folklore story. This Shojo came from a now defunct 19th C. Osaka sake brewery.
