A beautiful Late Edo period (Early 19th Century) Yukimi (sknow watching) lantern.
Beautiful large roof and ornate Neko-ashi (cat paw) legs. The light box in the middle has family crests. The door is missing. It is nicely worn, but still strong.
the writing on the roof by chalk will be washed.

A large mid - late Edo (18th-19th Century)period bronze Kouro, or incense burner collected at Japanese auction.
A large Dragon face appears from a break in the clouds, and its body and tail goes around the Kouro.
There is a crack at one side at the bottom.

A small black stone Suzuri (Ink stone used for calligraphy and painting) with decorative carving of a pine tree and thick clouds around it which makes this stone look like a framed painting. On the reverse side, there is a poem in Chinese style.
The signature on back side reads Seki Yuu (in Japanese pronunciation) one of the most famous ink stone artist in late Qing Dynasty.
