Japanese Shishi,(Buddhist temple guardians). Looks to be Taisho to early Showa period so about 100 years old. This size Shishi are usually used in a family temple or small village temple.

Mid 19th C. Japanese hand carved impregnated ningyo. Most likely an Omamori,(Talisman or protection amulet)according to some of the more knowledgeable at Kyoto auction. Has beautiful human hand oil from over 100 years of use.
