Three lanterns won at todays Kyoto auction. The 5 foot pagoda style gorinto is more than 400 years old. A mid C. usagi Yukimi,(Rabbit design snow lantern) and a late 19th C. Yukimi.
Three hardwood primitive benches with a beautiful wave pattern carved into the slabs. Each bench weighs in at about 65 pounds.
Hand carved out of a very heavy slate.
