Takotsubo,(Octopus pot). Unusual heavy iron pot with an octopus and other sea life deposited on the body of the pot. The characters on the bottom of the pot indicate it was an association of some sort that belonged to.
Murashido bronze tsubo with a spectacular effect achieved by dipping the bronze in oil immediately after the firing then smoking with rice straw. Dates around early to mid C. Comes in original signed box.
