Japanese antique thick bronze hand pounded temple nipple gongs. For hundreds of years the Japanese traded with the Javanese gong makers because of the superior sound and quality.
These gongs most likely were made in Java.
Heavenly deep tone and beautifulpatina.
Collected at a temple auction near Nagahama, Japan.
