KYO CER046Kutani Sake Bottle Set with Royal Crests
A beautiful set of 2 sake bottles with small lids comes in dated original wooden box.
Each bottle has a painting of an owl on snow covered pine tree, naturally oxidized silver glaze at the top, and chrysanthemum royal crests in gold at the bottom.
The owl and pine tree are painted in wonderful detail, and thick white glaze of snow is very much real. The work is amazingly detailed and beautiful.
They come in an original Kiri wood storage box, and the date on the box says it was purchased on 35th year of Meiji period (1903), owned by Honma family.
They are in great condition.
