Japanese white ceramic Monju Bosatsu.
Monju Bosatsu or Manjusri is the bodhisattva associated with wisdom, doctrine and awareness.
She is holding the sword representing her realisation of wisdom which cuts through ignorance and wrong views; and the scripture representing his attainment of ultimate realisation and Enlightenment.
Late 19th Century or early 20th Century.
There is a hair line crack on his face.
