A beautiful late Edo period (19th Century) Red lacquered iron Zunari style Kabuto and black lacquered iron Manpo collected at Japanese auction.
Zunari style Kabuto were commonly made early ~ mid Edo period.
There are cracks appear on surface of the red lacquer but they are not through the helmet.
