A large Gosho Ningyo (imperial doll) by Izukura.
Izukura is one of the most famous Gosho doll maker in Osaka since Edo period.
This is a large Gosho Osuwari Ningyo (sitting baby doll) over 100 years old. Beautiful sweet face and arms and legs look as if they could move at any moment.
Original red silk apron with gold embroidery.
There are some cracks on his arms, legs and chin,( very common on Gosho of this size). It comes in original wooden box.
